Do I fit this airplane? (perhaps some day)
What kind of airplane are you? It’s been said that a dog owner usually looks and resembles traits of their animal counter part. It got me thinking, that if it works with dog owners maybe its translatable to aircraft owners or aviators. Here is the set up, close your eyes and think of a very soft spoke pilot you know (eyes should be closed now). Now open them. When you envision this person, what kind of airplane does he/she fly most? Im sure you dont find that they fly the A10 Warthog or a DC-3, if my guess is correct I bet they fly a nice little Piper Cub to soak in all the sight and have an enjoyable ride. Now lets try another trait to see if this theory is really working!
Close those eyes again and imagine that one pilot you know with a hard core, balls to the walls type “A” kind of personality. Open your eyes, let me guess they aren’t in the Piper Cub like Pilot A was. Im sure this pilot is just as his personality fits him, he is prolly either in a home built highly manuevarable airplane, or in an over powered, quick, loud, lean mean flying machine of some sort.
As you guys tried this little experiment out, I did it as well, and to tell you the truth I almost get the exact opposite airplane for the type of personality it should suite. I guess airplane is not to aviator as dog is to their master.
Until Next Time,
